i like graphic tees. i dunno this summer all i've been dressing in are skinny jeans and a regular shirt. maybe if it's too hot i wear my brother's basketball shorts. i like the shirt and jeans look. i don't know why. and lately all i want to wear are those cool graphic tees. usually black and white ones. i like black and white shirts. there's something simple and beautiful about them.

maybe it has to do with my short hair. i look more edgy with short hair and wearing shirt and jeans.
i also have been wanting to dye a layer or my hair like a caramel color. iono just the layer underneath my top layer. they call it "peekaboo highlights" cuz it's peeking from underneath my hair. yea. iono i just think i would look cool with it.
i am somehow attracted to roses and the color yellow. neither of those things are my personal favorite flowers or color but i just have this weird attachment to them. i have quite a few rose-designed stuff like sunglasses, shoes, and a top. and i was "shopping" with my aunt on sunday and i found these kinda cheap looking pairs of rose stud earrings that were each a different size and color (there were three per pack. $10. not bad. almost bought them). now that i think of it i wish i did buy them. it would go well with some outfits i have. i think the color yellow just fits me really well even though my favorite color is turquoise/teal.
when i think of yellow i think of the sun. i have my happy days and i have my sad ones. sometimes i'm hidden beneath clouds but one always knows there's a sun no matter how cloudy it is. that's what i like to think of myself. happy even though i can let the clouds get in my way. it's nice to think that way. it's also sorta a hopeful thing.
catcher in the rye is one depressing book. i was depressed after i read it.

ReplyDeleteI guess short hair has more potential for edgy clothes, in my experience, but I'd lean more toward sophistication than edginess. Short hair does tend to make one look older, after all.
