good music

i love good music. i'm starting to REALLY like the band mae. there's something really soothing about their music. it's supposed to be emo, but it makes me feel good haha. maybe it's good EMOtion you're supposed to feel haha.

daphne loves derby is aiight also. i only like their acoustic songs. like simple, starving to be safe! and pollen and salt (now i know why nicole's blogspot was called that once). hammers and hearts is ok, but reminds me of him because he was the one that gave me the song so i don't listen to it that much.

death cab for cutie is the same thing as daphne loves derby. i only like their acoustic sounding songs. liiiike what sarah said and i will follow you into the dark and the sound of settling.

umm i like goo goo dolls "better days" and "iris". i think i'm into the rock mood. i like "blind" by lifehouse, "what i've done" and "new divide" by linkin park...

there's this song called "30 Days" by NeverShoutNever! it's a christmas song but i like how it is haha. it's so soothing hehe. i guess i'm into rock and soothing? haha what an unlikely combination. like brooke shields and michael jackson. lol.

i love how brooke shields still loves michael and has respect for him. my mom said, "that's what all lovers should be. i mean, you loved and respected each other and the proper thing to do if it doesn't work out is to be friends." that made me think...

anyway back to music. oh "wonder wall" by oasis!!! i like that song :3. and "i dare you to move" by switchfoot. old song, but i still love it.

"fly with me" by jonas brothers makes me so happy haha. it makes me go wheeee :D! i also like "he could be the one" by hannah montana/miley cyrus if i haven't mentioned that already (which i think i have). it's so catchy!

"she's out of my life", "gone too soon" (also the usher version from the memorial which i think i like better), "you are not alone", "man in the mirror", "pyt (pretty young thing)", "don't stop til you get enough" are some michael jackson faves. i also like that one song "never dreamed you'd leave in summer" by stevie wonder from the memorial.

today i learned how to play a pretty big part of "unfaithful" by rihanna through youtube. i guess i'm a visual learner. i learned it pretty quickly. or is it because it's an easy song? iono.

my plan to practice guitar has been failing so far. i prefer to play the piano haha. plus, i don't want to mess with the chords and stuff on the guitar. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TUNE IT HAHA. and i can't just listen and tune it. it's so hard. it doesn't come out right for me. and i'm kinda lazy to play guitar. i was thinking about giving it away, but it was my sixteen birthday present that costed over $200 o.o. yea, um i gotta start practicing on it haha.

i prefer the piano cuz to me it's easier and i dunno for some reason, i like the way you play songs on a piano. i just connect well with it. hehe.

ughhh. any suggestions on how to start playing? i KINDA don't want to =.= but oh wells. i'll start tomorrow maybe.

  1. haha! yeah my blog's named after dld's song. I didn't know what to name my blog that time and I was listening to that song, so i decided to name it that. yeah weird.

and I saw that video! I was like, "omg, if my husband did this to me, i'd be super embarassed." haha but that idea was pretty unique.

I like what your mom said up there. It's making me think too.

and mae is good stuff also. Along with copeland. (:

i feel the same way about piano and guitar. Guitar doesnt seem to work with my fingers. ahha. piano's so much easier. But i wish i could play both instruments skillfully.
