daniel radcliffe's accent is getting to me...

after watching a lot of videos about him, i read things now with his voice in mind. i've gone mental.

RF: i usually don't like british accents. i think they're annoying. but the harry potter people don't annoy me and oliver james doesn't annoy me haha. it's weird. it's just the way british people say things i feel like they have trouble speaking. i know that a lot of people would do anything for those accents, but i don't fancy it as much. i just feel like you shouldn't be speaking english if you have that accent ahha. even though britain is like where english originated from...or wtvr. what i hate more is when people who are not naturally born with a british accent speak with one. i mean ok if we're like imitating, but if you continually speak with it, my "that's really annoying" bell goes off on my head and i have to stop myself from itching with annoyance. i can take scottish accents though. i like them better haha. my FAVORITE accent is the mexican one where they say their s's in a different way...iono how to explain it. haha.

hmm hopefully i've drawn you in to my real point of today's post.

i've come to realize that parents are usually right. isn't it ironic and funny in a way? i mean it's supposed to be a like "DUH!" fact but really, i don't think most of us realize that (as growing children/teenagers). i find that that's the reason why parents look out for you. in the words of ms. chalew, they "may not be smarter than you" but they "may know more than you." they keep you from making mistakes either they've made or have seen others make.

sometimes i stop and think of some things that my mom has gotten totally wrong...i think out of all the things i have previously thought her wrong of, there are only about ten that she was actually wrong on.

honestly, i thought that she would be wrong about "being single and having fun before settling down" because i sooo wanted someone to be with. but you know, as my first relationship was over, it took a while to realize, "damn, that is so not what i need right now. maybe not even what i need in the nearby future. i think i'll actually follow mommy's advice about after graduating college."

i also thought that she was wrong about not doing anythign to your face and it will just all go away. the pimples i mean.

it's weird because the facts are right in front of us, yet we like to make ourselves believe in something else because we humans cannot handle the truth. we can't handle that someone else is right and we're not. oh come on, i bet there has not been one human who has never felt that feeling before. geez i feel it alot of times. but yes, it's just weird we have our evidence right in front of us and we neglect it.

for example, the pimples/acne. i mean if we just ignore it when we're young, then it will most likely go away as we mature. even though we stop growing in height, our faces still mature. haven't you ever looked at a picture of yourself probably only two years back and you go, "whoa, i look really young."? well i have haha.

anyways, yes, so our parents are right most of the time. for some weird reason, they are. at least mine are haha. i mean i can't wriggle out of anything i've been experiencing without having been told about it beforehand.

also, i don't know if most people know this, but nagging is a HUGE part of how you are today. depending on how much your mother/father nagged you early on in life. my mom is a huge nagger. every single day i'm nagged about something. but you see, annoyance covers up the real purpose of nagging. nagging helps you develop a conscience. i feel like i spelled that wrong...haha. yea anyway if you know what i mean, then i'll continue. more than once i go into something and i have this voice in the back of my head reminding me of what my mom has said either a while or a long time ago. don't you ever have that? like iono sometimes when i do something i hear those words my mom spoke to me in the back of my head.

every thing your parents scold you for has a purpose. another "uh-DUH" moment. but yes, i see it clearly now. don't stay up too late. why? it's scientifically proven that it's bad for your health. please, take it from me. the internet is a bad place. why? it is quite easy to be hooked on SOMETHING online (come on, admit it, you too have experienced frustration when internet slows down for a few hours :]). clean your room. why? because even though most people don't care about that random sock on the floor, people make a subconscious note about it in their mind. plus, it could lead to impress people. make sure you have manners. why? because even though generally people don't look at manners, there are those select few that look well into it. especially parents. plus, again, it could lead to impress people. study hard for your tests. why? because yes it will reward you well, but also you actually apply it in some weird way to life.

yes so this is my little "rant" for today. i came up with it while showering. cools.

daniel radcliffe's got a good sense of humor :]. and rupert is such a nice, down to earth kind of guy. he bought an ice cream van! and he has a hovercraft. freakin a for awesome.

  1. HAHA! the things we contemplate in the shower. xD

yes, i totally agree with this post about parents. As much as i don't like listening to them sometimes, they're always right in the end.

mmm, i hate the feeling where your wrong and the other person's right too. The feeling of being pwned. D: haha, but we learn from it.
