r.i.p. michael jackson

no matter what the media had said about this person, you CANNOT (and must not) ignore the fact that he revolutionized music and that he was a legend. not only an american legend, but that of the whole world. everybody knows michael jackson. filipinos, chinese, africans, europeans, latin americans, canadians, americans...everyone around the world.

sure he screwed up, but who doesn't? when you die, it's like those screwups don't follow you and you're not necessarily credited for those faults. we're human; every human is accounted for some imperfections. maybe michael jackson's imperfections was that he failed to see the beauty of his outer features and somehow he had an unusual love for kids.

what celebrity has not reached a downfall? most celebrities at the epitome of their career are likely to go down.

out of all of the celebrity deaths that i had heard of during the course of my life, michael jackson's death has struck me the most. i'm not necessarily devasted, but i am close to it because i am a fan of his music. i grew up to it, and you cannot ignore that it is different than any other music.

to hear that such a legend dies...it makes me sad that he's not going to produce any more of his music. i love it so much.

so for all of you haters, screw you. go ahead and be heartless. you can't hold something against someone. you have to see the whole picture. it's also about forgiveness.

R.I.P. the King of Pop

  1. The first thing that my dad told me when he got home was that Michael Jackson had died. I asked him to repeat it three times before I believed it. It didn't seem real to me. :[
