life ruined

you think you know a person.

my cousin's cousin is at rehab now.

during her highschool years, she did some drugs and probably got pregnant (considering she's young and she has two kids. probably that's how her first child was conceived). her boyfriend married her, to be a gentleman (ironically, since i bet he was a drug addict like herself) i guess...but i think they loved each other.

so after she gave birth, i think she changed and she started to go to school to become a nurse (what else -__- she's filipino). she changed her life all because of her beautiful baby boy (who is now the sweetest kid you can imagine). so she and her husband lived a few years of happiness and eventually had another kid (who's such a brat -_- a total opposite of his older brother).

she earned her license to be an rn (registered nurse. a big position for a nurse) and was working and was successful...

until she supposedly met a guy who was a drug addict and she cheated on her husband.

not just that, she stole drugs from the hospital and became addicted once again to drugs. the hospital found out, and they took away her license. all that money put into getting her an education...her children, her loving husband who changed for the better (for good, i might add. he's a really good dad), her sister who cared for her...all thrown away because she met this guy!

again goes to show how much an impact someone can be to your life.

i wonder if any of us will become like that. there will of course be a point in our lives where life challenges you to think (haha sounds like my fahrenheit 451 essay). will there be a time where pressure gives in?

  1. This sounds like one of my worst nightmares. Once I see myself on the edge, I always try to step back before I fall. The annoying part of the equation is that I'm always on the edge. It's good that you face this as a fact and leave it as a reminder for yourself.
